SRDF is an EMC technology used to replicate databases to remote systems for DRP purposes similar to Oracle's Data Guard.
Oracle DRP can be achieved with the following SRDF modes:
- SRDF Synchronous Mode.
- SRDF Asynchronous Mode, provides a consistent point-in-time image of the data that is not too far behind in time.
